Cabo de Palos is a small port town located in the region of Murcia, close to the port city of Cartagena.
Here you can visit the picturesque harbor and afterwards enjoy swimming or snorkeling in one of the many bays.
The coastline is totally different from Orihuela’s because it has no long sandy beaches but small rocky coves and cliffs.
This is a very rough but magnificent stretch of coastline. During the trip you can admire Isla Grosa, the volcanic island in front of the Mar Menor which is also a natural reserve.
This area is also the breeding ground for thousands of birds. The sailing time is approximately 1h20.
